Tim Anderson's Northcreek 160 Canoe

Tim Anderson has kindly shared these pictures of his Northcreek 160 during it's construction in late 1999. Many thanks to Tim for his contributions!

Tim's constructing this hull using Basswood strips and is using Spanish Cedar for the accent strips.

A very pleasing color combination!

As you can see, Tim's doing an excellent job stripping the Basswood hull. This looks like it's going to be a beautiful canoe!

Filling in the bottom strips.

He's doing beautiful strip weaving on the bottom

Tim's also using small "C"-clamps between the stations to hold the strip edges aligned to each other while the glue dries. This will make fairing and sanding the hull much easier inside & out.
