Padded yokes are nice, but if you don't want to spoil the looks of your canoe (or chance losing removable yoke pads), then we suggest you install a Deep Curve Yoke!

This Deep Curve Yoke is made of the same select Ash hardwood as the seats. Shaped to provide more bearing over your shoulders and neck rather than behind them. The edges are rounded, the entire yoke sanded smooth. All you'll need to do is sand lightly, cut to length, apply three coats of spar varnish and install! Your next "portage" or "carry" won't seem so bad when "the yoke's on you!"
